Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 situation, the tournament will be transitioning online; instead of being hosted at the South Gym on the Burnaby North Secondary campus, all events will occur on chess.com.

Please create an account if you have not already done so; we encourage you to play as many games as possible to have your indicated rapid rating reflect your true skill. More information on how to navigate the platform and tournament logistics will be sent out via email prior to the tournament.

TOURNAMENT REGISTRATION
Players should aim to sign in on chess.com prior to 4:00. Opening ceremonies will commence on 4:00 on Discord.
4:00 - 4:15
OPENING CEREMONY
The Tournament Director will be formally welcoming all players. Important tournament rules, regulations, and safety protocols will be covered; pairings and matches will also be announced.
4:15 - 7:00 (tentative)
GAME TIME
The tentative plan for the many rounds of the tournament is for games to last until around 7:00, after which there will be awards, a socialization period, and a finale.
